Tea, Berries and Apples Are Effective in Lowering Blood Pressure

A large portion of the world's population suffers from high blood pressure and tea, various berries, and vanilla can be very effective in treating it.

Diets are used around the world to control blood pressure, which has now become regular knowledge. This dietary approach is called stop hypertension or dash. But now experts believe that increasing the consumption of apples and tea instead of eating the long bread of Dash can be beneficial.

Explaining the reason for this, experts have said that flavonoids have magical effects and their importance cannot be denied. The research is published in the latest issue of Scientific Reports, which studies thousands of people. Although vegetables and plants are used in the dash, a new survey has been conducted.

The survey was conducted in the UK and covered 25,618 people. The survey noted people's age, habits, exercise, and dietary preferences. They were asked to use tea and apples, and urine tests also noted the excretion of flavonoids. This amount was also noted to be related to blood pressure.

Interestingly, the scientists noted that people with high levels of flavonols had slightly lower blood pressure than others. This reduction was two to four units less. Importantly, as the number of flavonoids increased in patients with high blood pressure, their blood pressure gradually returned to normal.

University of Reading scientist Gunnar Conley and his colleagues conducted this survey. Flavored vanilla is also useful for the heart. According to him, high levels of flavonols are found in tea, apples, and berries, but less in coffee. Some types of chocolate also contain flavonols.
